Beautiful. My grandfather made about a dozen flintlocks like that from kits back in the late 70's early 80's before he passed away.
They were supposed to come to me and my brother when my grandmother passes, but they were stolen from her house and who knows where they ended up.

Great looking rifles. I wish I could find the ones my grand dad made.
Keep a hold of that one.

This one has a curly maple stock, and lots of coin silver inlays. Even the original ramrod. Pretty sure it could be fired. Looks to be about .36 caliber. Maker on top of barrel says B. Reeves.

My family has roots in the Princeton area since 1843 or so

All our stuff is under Kentucky Lake today.... nice rifle. Id be proud of it

Love the engraved screw heads. That is craftsmanship from a bye gone era.
