Back in 2012, Brandon installed Tapatalk compatibility on the forum. A lot has changed since then. For one Facebook has taken over. Mostly because people are lazy and they don't want to log in to a forum and they are already on Facebook 27 hours a day. Tapatalk changes that theory. Tapatalk is an app that allows instant access to forums and allows the user to use the forum without actually being logged onto the forum through a browser

Secondly, Tapatalk is now FREE

I have been thinking lately about how to get some users back from Facebook and started looking at Tapatalk again. It has shown me some really nice features that are very useful and make the experience much more enjoyable.

All I use for forums is tapatalk. I wouldn't have joined this one if it wasn't on tapatalk. It makes everything that much easier, to me.

Although I do prefer an older version than what's out now. More intuitive and user friendly. On Android you can search for apk files and load what ever version u want.

I've been using tapatalk on this forum for a couple of years. Our version was behind, and needed upgraded.

I'm on my phone accessing this forum 95% of the time. There are some functions that haven't been available with the old version. I'll have to play around and see if they can be used now.

Edit: I just looked. I still can't access the match announcements and results forum from tapatalk.

If I need to post a match or scores in that forum, I have to go to forumrunner app that gives me access to post. I can't even see threads in that forum on tapatalk.

Announcements and scores have been moved to "competition". The old category still shows up but it's empty

Tapatalk can suck my white ass. I hate Tapatalk, and I hate the mobile version. The full version is the gold standard. Everything else is a piece of garbage.

Check your Tapatalk now and see if that is fixed. You should only see "Competition"

The feature I use most with tapatalk is the "participated" tab. Every thread u have commented on in one place. d26ae217eb5f008e855116d2d246b526.jpg

I co-run a pretty huge forum in Norway and my impression is that there are more stupid people on the facebook gun groups. Which is good, because they need a place to be and communicate with their peers, while me and my buddies are running a serious web based forum for everyone else.

What version are you using? That layout looks different than mine. I am using the free version 5.2.x

4.9.5. I've been using tapatalk for years. I didn't care for the update past my current one. I couldn't find anything and it made it much more difficult to navigate. I havent tried the most recent update.

Side note: I'm not getting a notification when you quote my post. Other forums I'm on will send one through tapatalk. I need to get on my pc and check settings on the main forum. Maybe it's dependent on something there.
