Burk Cornelius is a douche bag.

#200299 Mr. BoomerShooter 2014

Well, it seems that the lame moderators of this forum have tried to lock me out. Very mature! I have the right to speak my mind even if I don’t agree with half of the drivel that gets posted here.

Once again, I am here against my better judgment. Any time I try to be civil around my Half-Twin-Step Brother (same mother, different dad) Burk Cornelius it usually ends up in a fight of some kind. Frankly, I don’t have the energy to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

I am only posting this time for the good of the BoomerShooter community

Last year I started a tradition of designating one of our members as Mr. (or Miss) BoomerShooter. Last year it was our own Tony Wall with Make Ready Pro Shop. He wore the sash well throughout the year

This year the designation of Mr. BoomerShooter goes to Micah Rowe. Sure Micah has his good looks and that certain Je ne sais quoi (fuck you Burk, I went to college too) but under all that, he is just a pretty good dude, a veteran and all around bad ass. He would do anything for a fellow shooter and has proven it on numerous occasions. If you ever get the opportunity to knock back a few Miller High Life’s with him, take it!

Micah Rowe represents everything BoomerShooter.com is about and he is MR. BOOMERSHOOTER

I don't know where this topic belongs so one of the lame moderators of this forum can move it if they need to make themselves feel powerful or something.

I don't post here much. Mostly because of my Half-Twin-Step Brother (same mother, different dad) , Burk Cornelius. I really don't like being associated with him and it just seems better to stay away but this needs to be said.

Each year I am going to award one member the designation of Mr. (or Miss) BoomerShooter. For 2013 the designation of Mr. BoomerShooter goes to TONY WALL with MAKE READY PRO SHOP.

Not just because Tony always has the right stuff when you need it. Not just for stepping up in the jersey contingency program. And not just because he's damned sexy. But mostly because of the way he does business. With honesty and integrity. Stuff you don't see behind the scenes, but stuff I get to see because I am pretty much his best friend (Ha, F#*K you Burk).

Tony Wall represents everything that BoomerShooter.com is about and he is 2013 MR. BOOMERSHOOTER!

See you next year at about the same time..............................

This thread is full of excellent info. Now for some stuff that I held out of the original post. I have talked to several people about the practice of shooting with both eyes open. My eyes are kind of weird to begin with.

1. I am cross dominant (right handed left eye dominant)
2. I have corrective lenses that correct my right eye for close vision (front sight) and my left eye for distance vision (target)

This is the exact problem I have except...

1. I am cross dominant (left handed right eye dominant)
2. I have corrective lenses that correct my left eye for close vision (front sight) and my right eye for distance vision (target) and my brown eye for night vision

#100000 Steel challenge equiptment

Not really. You will shoot 5 strings at each stage. Each string will consist of 5 steel targets. If you don't miss you can get 2-3 strings from one magazine. If you miss some, you might only get 1-2 strings from a magazine, depending on how many your mags hold.

You can reload mags in between stages, there isn't really time between strings to reload. I would say you can get by with 3 magazines unless you have a GOOD friend reloading magazines for you in between strings

No

This guy knows his stuff!
