I use them. I haven't had any issues with them.
These are std on all Dawson super tuned & CRP 1911/2011 pistols.
They're designed to prevent over insertion of the mag during an aggressive reload & bending or breaking your ejector. So far I've not bent or broken any ejectors...lol
